Last Friday, I had the great opportunity to speak on the Gulf Blue Plague radio show with Michael Edwards. A New Orleans resident also joined us to share her and her husband’s experience with natural detox protocols pioneered by Dr. Rea. Their experience is incredible and it parallels our experience with the detox as well. Don’t lose hope, you can detoxify and live! We also had a chance to talk about oil eating bacteria that are showing up in people’s systems, even though they don’t live near the beach.

Gabriela Segura, MD from France was our guest on 5/06/11 as we discussed natural and practical detoxification for Gulf of Mexico toxins, including radiation from the higher levels of uranium and thorium in the asphaltic oil still spewing into the Gulf. Dr. Gabriela was joined by a New Orleans resident who had just gone through an extensive detox program with very positive results

The excitement of the season had just begun, and then we heard the news: oil in the water, lots of oil killing lots of water. It is too shocking to understand. Never in the millennium of our tradition have we thought it possible for the water to die, but it is true.

Psychopaths Rule Our World

We are now part of a giant experiment on massive chemical toxicity exposure, where insanity, wishful thinking, denial, and outright lies run the show. Where our leaders are completely out of touch with reality and rather than guidance, protection and healing, they offer us disinformation and manipulation. How on earth did we allow this to happen? Then again, what do we expect in a world where psychopathic corporate interests dominate almost every area of life?

An invasive cancer has spread throughout our global society. Mother nature too has succumbed to the effects of this destructive ideology and now carries the seeds of ecological disaster in her womb. Despite all their machinations and carefully laid plans, the hubris and supreme self-interest of the psychopaths that rule our world have set humanity on a course for extinction. Who benefits when there are no people left to rule and control?

In the words of psychologist Andrew M. Lobaczweski:

[W]hat happens if the network of understandings among psychopaths achieves power in leader-ship positions with international exposure? Goaded by their character, such people thirst for just that […] They do not understand that a catastrophe would otherwise ensue. Germs are not aware that they will be burned alive or buried deep in the ground along with the human body whose death they are causing.

If such and many managerial positions are assumed by individuals deprived of sufficient abilities to feel and understand most other people, and who also betray deficiencies as regards technical imagination and practical skills–faculties indispensable for governing economic and political matters–this must result in an exceptionally serious crisis in all areas, both within the country in question and with regard to international relations. -Andrew M. Lobaczewski, Political Ponerology: A Science on the Nature of Evil Adjusted for Political Purposes.

It is often said that if we don’t learn from our history, we are doomed to repeat it, and it saddens me to have to say that, as a species, humanity today finds itself on the evolutionary cliff-edge once again. But times of great crisis and tragedy also present an opportunity to finally wake up to the reality of the world around us and the forces that would prefer human beings to go quietly and ignorantly into the cold, dark night of oblivion. Knowledge therefore is crucial, but to acquire and use knowledge, we must first ensure that we have healthy bodies, minds and emotions through which that knowledge will be expressed. It is for this reason that there has been a concerted effort by our political and corporate leaders to ensure that humanity remains caught in the grip of physical, psychological and emotional illness.

The Exxon Valdez Oil Spill

The Exxon Valdez disaster spilled millions of gallons of oil in Prince William Sound, Alaska in 1989. As tragic as it was and still is, it pales in comparison to what happened this year in the gulf. It has been estimated that the BP oil spill poured the equivalent of the Exxon Valdez oil spill every 8 to 10 days. What most people don’t know is that federal records show a steady stream of oil spills between 1964 and 2009 that dumped 517,847 barrels of petroleum – which would fill an equivalent number of standard American bathtubs – into the Gulf of Mexico. The spills killed thousands of birds and soiled beaches as far away as Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Altogether, they poured twice as much oil into U.S. waters as the Exxon Valdez tanker did when it ran aground in 1989. Now with the Gulf Oil Spill we are facing a disaster of epic proportions and consequences, an event that represents a point of no return. Read more…

The Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS) is marketed feverishly as a miraculous alternative treatment for AIDS, hepatitis, malaria, herpes, tuberculosis, cancer and many more of mankind’s most feared diseases. The truth is that MMS is a dangerous poison, and as such it has no business whatsoever in the alternative health arena.

Many people do not know that MMS is essentially bleach. It’s very effective for killing bacteria in toilets, but you certainly shouldn’t be swallowing it. The active ingredient in MMS is not a mineral, but chlorine dioxide (oxygenated chlorine), which is formed from the chemical combination of sodium chlorite and acetic acid (vinegar) or citric acid. MMS as a poison does kill intrusive germs in your body, but it would be naïve to believe it to be carefully selective in what it kills and destroys, or to think that the damage done has only limited consequences. It is shocking that MMS is recommended so widely, that it is recommended to already weakened individuals AND that it is recommended for long-term use. In truth, the potential long-term and dangerous side effects of regular MMS use should give anyone the shivers. Read more…

Autoimmune, Cancer and Heart Disease

Up to 40 million Americans suffer from autoimmune disease [Stephen Edelson MD and Deborah Mitchell, What your Doctor May Not Tell You About Autoimmune Disorders]. Of that number, about 75% are women, making it the fourth largest cause of disability in women.
Autoimmune disease is one of the top 10 leading causes of death in female children and women in all age groups up to 64 years of age.

Researchers have identified 80-100 different autoimmune diseases and suspect at least 40 additional diseases of having an autoimmune basis. These diseases are chronic and can be life-threatening.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) estimates up to 9 million Americans have cancer and 22 million have heart disease. In the U.S. alone…

We are exposed to 6 million pounds of mercury and the 2.5 billion pounds other toxic chemicals each year.

Mercury is one of the most toxic substances in the world for our bodies. It has been associated with gastrointestinal, autoimmune, cardiovascular, kidney and neurological/cognitive problems. Gastrointestinal problems include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and colitis. Neurological problems include symptoms of shyness, emotional lability, nervousness, insomnia, memory problems, and the inability to concentrate. Other nervous symptoms may include encephalopathy, nerve damage, Parkinsonian symptoms, tremor, ataxia, impaired hearing, tunnel vision, dysarthria, headache, fatigue, impaired sexual function, and depression. Kidney problems include proteinura and acute renal failure. Skin problems includes allergic skin rashes, chelitis, gum disease, stomatitis and excessive salivation. Cardiovascular problems include endothelial dysfunction in resistance and conductance arteries, and an increase in oxidative stress responsible for some of the deterioration in vascular responses.

We are exposed to mercury through medications, dental silver fillings, large sea food (tuna, shark, swordfish, tilefish, sea bass, and most river fish), and environmental exposure. For instance, the level of mercury brain tissues directly correlates to the number of dental fillings we have in our mouths. Mercury is also a common disinfectant in most flu vaccines and contact-lens fluid. And people can have toxic blood levels of mercury from eating too much sushi.

Mercury is highly persistent in the environment and can be carried far distances in the atmosphere, getting deposited far from their place of origin. In addition to this, mercury is emitted from coal-burning industrial facilities at the rate of 2,900 tons (or over 6 million pounds) per year! A disaster, if you consider that mercury is toxic at greater than 1 part per million, and organizations consider a “safe” level of mercury exposure to be less than 0.1 micrograms/kilogram body weight/day. Now this is extremely alarming! And mercury still is a major pollutant in our environment:

Molds (or moulds) include all species of microscopic fungi that grow in the form of multicellular filaments, called hyphae.

Common molds include Alternaria, Aspergillus, Basidiomycetes, Bipolaris, Cladosporium, Curvularia, Epicoccus, Fusarium, Myxomycetes, Penicillium, Rhizopus, and Stachybotrys (AKA toxic black mold).

Mold toxins, mycotoxins, damages nerves and is related to autoimmune diseases, that is your own defense system turns against yourself, i.e. against nerve and brain tissue. Furthermore, mycotoxins is associated with allergies and respiratory system problems like sinus problems and asthma. This news item helps to put things in perspective:

Plastics come in all sorts of shapes and colors to make our lives easier and more convenient, containing certain substances that improve their performance and also makes them less expensive. In general we are told that plastics have a low profile of toxicity due to its properties, for example water and relative chemical inertness. What we are usually not told is that plastics contain additional toxic substances -bisphenol A (BPA) used to strengthen some plastics and phthalates used to soften others- which at small concentrations cause a lot of problems.

BPA is found in baby and water bottles, can linings, laboratory flasks, plastic food containers, dental sealants, CD cases, eye glasses, soft drinks, and thousands of other household products. It is a “high production” chemical that is also used in plastic and epoxy resins.

Phthalates are found in children’s toys, vinyl shower curtains, salad dressings, cooking oil bottles, medical devices, building materials, personal-care products, food packaging, pharmaceuticals materials, some medication coatings such as -theophylline (for asthma and lung disease medication), omeprazole (an ulcer treatment), mesalamine (used to treat colitis)- and cleaning materials.

These chemicals are found everywhere in the environment and they enter our bodies through food, water, bits of household dust we consume, or they are absorbed through the skin. Eventually they get stored in fat cells making us unable to get rid of them! According to a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) study, BPA was found in the urine of 95% of the people tested and another study found that most newborns (9 out of 10) were born with BPA in their systems. Also when researchers examined the water of the Pacific Ocean they found it contained 6 times as much plastic as plankton by weight!

Our water supply is contaminated by numerous chemicals from old forgotten underground storage tanks, leaking waste sites, manufacturing byproducts, vehicle exhaust, coal burning power plants, etc.

One example, trichloroethylene (TCE), once contaminated the underground water supply of a whole town after an ammunition factory site was bulldozed there decades earlier. The TCE contamination was responsible for an epidemic of leukemia in children. I am distressed to inform you that most water supplies in the United States contain considerable amounts of TCE.

On top of that, water has to pass through conduits or pipes which leach copper, PVC (polyvinyl chloride), acrylates, vinylidene, lead, and other toxins.

And as if we don’t have enough toxins in our environment, now there is this:

Plastics and pesticides in the environment are “hormone mimics”, which means they act as fertilizers for cancer and disrupt normal gland/hormone function. What is more, they are found literally all around the world – there is no place left untouched by their harmful effects.

Plastics along with pesticides are responsible for cancers, endocrine developmental problems, attention deficit, hyperactivity disease, infertility, inability to handle stress, violence, increased mental disease, decreased intelligence, drug addiction, loss of normal parental instincts, etc. Can you imagine how much our quality of life would improve without such toxins dragging us down on a daily basis?
